Most of what is available around St. Augustine is a condo, and most of the cheap end of the market is too.
A condo here usually buys you a pool you do not maintain, a lift, a car park, and a lower nightly rate than a house of the same size. What it does not buy is privacy or a garden, and in the bigger complexes the pool is shared with a few hundred other people in August.
Floor matters more than people expect. The same building can be ninety dollars on the ground floor and two hundred at the top, for the same number of beds.
